Four platforms, one account

FxPro is one of a small number of brokers that genuinely offers all four major retail trading platforms from the same account: MT4, MT5, cTrader, and the proprietary FxPro Edge. This isn't padding - each platform has a distinct audience. cTrader is the standout: FxPro's cTrader implementation supports Level II pricing, full FIX API access, and the cAlgo algorithmic trading environment, all without broker-side modifications. For traders whose strategies are built on cTrader, FxPro is a well-regulated option with a clean cTrader setup.

Trading costs

The SuperRaw account delivers 0.0 pip spreads on EUR/USD with a USD 7 round-turn commission. During our testing at London open, we consistently saw 0.0–0.1 pip spreads on the account. The Instant account is spread-only at around 1.2 pips - not competitive for active traders but suitable for those who want simple cost structure without commissions.

Regulation

FCA (509956), CySEC (078/07), and FSCA (45052). The FCA licence covers UK and European clients; FSCA serves South Africa. No US clients are accepted.

Who it suits

European traders who want cTrader with proper API access, FCA-regulated ECN pricing, and the option to use MT4 or MT5 if needed. FxPro's UK headquarters and FCA regulation make it a credible choice for UK traders who want raw ECN pricing without going to an Australian-domiciled broker.

Where it falls short

FxPro Edge, the proprietary client, is notably less capable than the MetaTrader or cTrader offerings and doesn't add much to the platform story. Customer support response times during peak London hours can be slow. Standard account spreads are wide at 1.2 pips - only the SuperRaw account is genuinely competitive.

Bottom line

FxPro earns its place on the strength of the cTrader offering and FCA regulation. For traders building algorithmic strategies on cTrader who want a well-regulated European broker, it is one of the best available options.
