Axi Crypto Broker Review

Axi for crypto: ECN-adjacent crypto CFDs under ASIC and FCA regulation

Axi provides cryptocurrency CFDs on major pairs including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, and a handful of other major tokens on MT4 and the proprietary Axi One platform. The ECN-adjacent execution model extends to crypto CFDs, with spreads competitive within the regulated retail broker tier.

Platform coverage

MT4 and Axi One support crypto CFD trading. The Axi One platform integrates social trading via AxiSelect - a professional trader programme allowing copying of selected traders' positions including crypto strategies.

Trading costs

Axi uses variable spreads with no commission on standard accounts. The Pro account offers tighter spreads with a commission overlay. No minimum deposit is required. No inactivity fee.

Regulation

Axi is regulated by ASIC (Australia) and FCA (UK), with additional coverage from DFSA (UAE) and FSA (Saint Vincent). ASIC and FCA licences are the primary regulatory anchors. UK clients benefit from FSCS protection.

Limitations

Axi's crypto offering is narrower than most peers - 15+ coins focused on majors only. CFDs only - no real crypto ownership, staking, or on-chain withdrawals. AxiSelect social trading for crypto has limited scale.

Bottom line

Axi is a solid regulated choice for existing Axi clients who want to add crypto CFD exposure without switching brokers. For broader crypto coverage or social trading at scale, Capital.com or eToro are better alternatives.
