Cómo usar esta calculadora
A pip is the smallest standard price move for a forex pair. For most pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD) one pip = 0.0001; for JPY pairs (USD/JPY) one pip = 0.01.
Inputs explained
- Currency pair: the pair you are trading; the pip size is set automatically.
- Lot size: 1.0 standard lot = 100,000 units of the base currency. Use 0.1 for a mini-lot, 0.01 for a micro-lot.
- Account currency: the currency your broker account is denominated in (e.g. USD, EUR, GBP).
- Exchange rate: only shown when the quote currency differs from your account currency. Enter how many account-currency units equal 1 quote-currency unit.
Worked example
You trade 1 lot of EUR/USD and your account is in USD. Pip size = 0.0001, lot = 100,000 units.
Pip value = 0.0001 × 100,000 × 1 lot = $10 per pip.
If price moves 50 pips in your favour you gain $500.
